  • 4 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1 red chili, seeded and diced
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 2 TB shrimp paste (you can usually find it at Asian groceries)
  • 2 eggs, whisked together
  • 1 TB fish sauce
  • Fry the garlic and red chiil in the oil over medium high heat
  • After about 30 seconds add the green onion, fry for about a minute.
  • Add the rice and the shrimp paste and stir fry until the rice is heated through and the shrimp paste is well-mixed into the rice.
  • Pour over the eggs, and stir to coat the rice.
  • Stir fry until the egg is cooked.
  • Pour over fish sauce and stir fry for another minute or two.
