Rosemary Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients:
  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
  • 4 TB flour
  • 3 TB fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 3 TB butter
  • 2 cups hot milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
Directions:

  • In a small bowl combine flour, rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Line a buttered, 2 quart baking dish with 1/3 of the potatoes.
  • Sift over one half of the flour mixture.
  • Add another layer of potatoes.
  • Sift over the other half of the flour mixtures.
  • Cover with the remaining potatoes.
  • Dot with butter, and pour over hot milk.
  • Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • Uncover, sprinkle the cheese over the top and bake, uncovered for 15 more minutes.
